I'm not exactly sure what the guy in the first photo is selling. After seeing all the fish, birds and turtles, I was happy to see plants for sale.

How about birds? Would anyone care for a pigeon or maybe even a little critter such as a chipmunk? They like to be smashed into a small cage with hundreds of others.

We decided to take a different route back to the ship so we could see the market along the riverbank.

After hearing all the hype about Wal-Mart in China, we had to check it out. Don't those fish look fresh? I'm not sure they're supposed to swim upside down like that.

Sorry for the confusion with the photos. I thought I lost photos from this entire day so I used photos my dad took (previous entry), but I found mine! So . . . these are photos from after lunch when we went out into the city. We walked down to the premier shopping street where I found the watches I mentioned earlier. :)

After the visit to the museum we went back to the ship for lunch. We then had time to explore the town and do some shopping before setting sail. I bought a few awesome watches. They came in handy so I could shove it in the faces of all the people that still asked if we had our watches on just because we were late getting back to the tour bus one day at the beginning of our trip.
