Tina and I bought a bus ticket from Sydney to Brisbane with unlimited stops. We figured this would be a great way to see the east coast of Australia. First stop...Newcastle. We stayed with my friend, James' family. To make a long story short, I met James in New York two years ago and we've kept in touch since then. He flew down from Noosa to hang out with us and welcome us to Australia. They made up a room for Tina and me complete with Ferro Rocher chocolates! James' stepdad, Mick, loved to cook and we had THE MOST AMAZING meals. The first picture is when we first arrived. The second is after we made ourselves at home :)
