As part of the celebration of the Jussehra Festival, statues of Ravana are made and then burned. It is supposed to be good luck if you see one of the pieces being lit on fire. We stopped at many different sites to see the different representations of Ravana. There were so many people out, the streets were packed with cars, bikes, motorcycles, scooters and people walking.
