Our three weeks in Dehradun has passed much too quickly. I feel as though I had just begun to make really good bonds with the children and make so many new friends and now it's time to go. Friday was our last day with the kids. They gave us cards thanking us for volunteering. It was really hard to walk away. I actually received a marriage proposal from one of the kids and another one wouldn't let go of Noopur; preventing us from leaving. After we said our goodbyes and walked out of the gate, two kids figured out how to open it, yelling, "Can we come with you?!" and they ran after us. :( So sweet...
